Internship Program
Commodity trading internships at Linq Commodities are designed to give students exposure to a wide range of business practices in the commodity trading field, including research and analysis, trading fundamentals, shipping and logistics, contract administration and more. The programs will help develop knowledge and skills relating to supply/demand economics, quantitative analysis and usage of statistical information. Linq Commodities offers direct access to senior traders and managers in an open working environment that is designed to encourage the free flow of ideas and information. Interns gain familiarity with the physical flow of commodities in both domestic and export markets and an understanding of our position in the global marketplace.
For the internship program, Linq Commodities seeks exceptional college sophomores and juniors eager to demonstrate their potential. We look for the brightest, outgoing students with the drive to maintain our excellence. An educational background in economics, finance and mathematics is desirable, but is not the only credential considered for this internship.
Qualified candidates must be able to act decisively, think critically and communicate well. During the interview process, we encourage candidates to ask questions about our company and what we do, so that they reach a good understanding of Linq Commodities and how they may fit into our organization.
